In the event of an emergency, and particular at the outbreak of a fire, fire emergency signs need to be easily and clearly identified by white text on a red background. Allowing staff/patrons or first responders to gain quick identification and access to any fire related safety equipment.

Australian Standard AS1319 – 1994 states, that all signs must be placed above or adjacent to the appropriate fire equipment.  Signage must be positioned as to be clearly visible to persons approaching the equipment.  Signs shall be mounted not less than 2.0m above floor level.

Fire would be a very devastating tragedy if it was to destroy your workplace, ensure that you and the employees are aware of the appropriate equipment to use, in case of a fire. If a sign you require is not listed, please email us as we are able to obtain any kind of customised fire safety signage that you may need.
